The issuances are expected to raise EGP 12-15 bn, according to the minister, who also said that the IPO program\u2019s schedule and lineup is \u201cflexible\u201d and \u201ccould be amended\u201d depending on how ready some companies are compared to others. El Garhy had <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/03\/20\/govt-to-set-first-five-companies-of-the-ipo-program-in-september-october\/\">said on Monday<\/a> that the government intends to to select the first four or five companies that will list under phase one of the IPO program by September or October. <strong>The ministry had <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/03\/19\/govt-unveils-the-lineup-for-the-state-ipo-program\/\"><strong>announced on Sunday<\/strong><\/a><strong> a lineup of 23 state-owned companies that will IPO or list additional shares<\/strong> on the EGX over 24-30 months. Enppi is largely expected to be the pilot IPO of the program, while Banque du Caire should be the first of the banks to list, <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/03\/01\/banque-du-caire-ipo-will-not-take-place-before-4q2018\/\">but not before 4Q2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The program will see listed at least 20% of the Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR) on offer<\/strong>, an unnamed EGPC official <a href=\"http:\/\/almalnews.com\/Story\/369618\/59\/%D9%85%D8%B3%D8%A6%D9%88%D9%84-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D8%AA%D8%B1%D9%88%D9%84-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B3%D8%A8%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B3%D8%AA%D9%87%D8%AF%D9%81-%D8%B7%D8%B1%D8%AD%D9%87%D8%A7-%D9%85%D9%86-%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%B1-%D9%84%D9%86-%D8%AA%D9%82%D9%84-%D8%B9%D9%86-20%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A6%D8%A9\">also tells the newspaper<\/a>. The Finance Ministry\u2019s Sunday announcement \u2014 which included around 11 companies from the oil and gas and petrochemicals sectors \u2014 had said that most companies would float between 15-30% of their shares on the EGX, raising some EGP 80 bn in additional capital.
