Ten of the companies in the program are already listed, noted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabinet.gov.eg\/Arabic\/MediaCenter\/CabinetNews\/Pages\/press.aspx\">a statement from the Ismail cabinet<\/a>, so look in each of those cases at a sale through an accelerated book-building process as the most likely scenario.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the most part, the state will offer for sale 15-30% of each of the companies<\/strong>, the Finance Ministry <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mof.gov.eg\/Arabic\/MOFNews\/Press\/Pages\/news-a-18-3-18.aspx\">said in a statement<\/a>. The cumulative value of the listings, which will take place over the coming 24-30 months, is expected to reach EGP 80 bn and would raise their collective market capitalization to EGP 450 bn, the ministry added.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finance Minister Amr El Garhy said on Sunday that the first stake sale would take place within two to three months<\/strong>, without specifying which company, <a href=\"https:\/\/af.reuters.com\/article\/africaTech\/idAFL8N1R021A\">according to Reuters<\/a>. It had been reported a number of times that state energy firm Enppi would be the pilot IPO of the program. As <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/03\/01\/banque-du-caire-ipo-will-not-take-place-before-4q2018\/\">we noted earlier this month<\/a>, the IPO of Banque du Caire \u2014 the first state bank to list \u2014 won\u2019t take place before 4Q2018.
