The deputy chair of the House Planning and Budget Committee, Yasser Omar, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youm7.com\/story\/2018\/4\/18\/%D9%88%D9%83%D9%8A%D9%84-%D8%AE%D8%B7%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D8%B1%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%86-%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%A1-%D9%85%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%B4%D8%A9-%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%B2%D9%86%D8%A9-2018-%D9%802019-%D9%85%D8%B9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%B7%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%AA\/3750200\">had supposedly told Youm7 last week<\/a> that the committee discussions on the budget were postponed until 5 May on account of the key economic ministers attending the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings, which ended yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The budget is priority number one in parliament<\/strong>, which has postponed discussions on other laws, including the Unified Building Codes, until committee budget discussions of the new spending bill are through, the deputy head of the House Housing Committee told the newspaper.
