Paneb lost his job as one of the most accomplished artisans of his time due to his corruption and treatment of women, according to the millenia-old papyrus. Dating back to around 1,200 BC, the papyrus records a complaint accusing Paneb of \u201cstripping a woman named Yeyemwaw, throwing her against a wall and violating her.\u201d The scrolls, which has been in the possession of the British Museum since the early 19th century, is being reassessed in light of the recent #MeToo campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
