The 2012 low-budget film, \u201cInnocence of Muslims,\u201d had been met with criticism and protests in Egypt and other Muslim-majority countries. A lower administrative court had issued a ruling the following year for the video-sharing website to be blocked, but the NTRA appealed the decision and the ruling was stayed throughout the appeal process. \u201cThe [ICT] ministry at the time said it would be impossible to enforce the ruling without also disrupting Google\u2019s Internet search engine, incurring potentially huge costs and job losses\u201d in the country, the newswire says.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The NTRA is waiting to receive a copy of the ruling to look into how it can implement the ban<\/strong>, an unnamed NTRA official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youm7.com\/story\/2018\/5\/26\/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%B5%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%86%D9%86%D8%AA%D8%B8%D8%B1-%D9%88%D8%B5%D9%88%D9%84-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D9%8A%D8%BA%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%85-%D8%AD%D8%AC%D8%A8-%D9%8A%D9%88%D8%AA%D9%8A%D9%88%D8%A8\/3809541\">tells Youm7<\/a>.
