Qatar doesn\u2019t plan on mending ties with the Arab Quartet:<\/strong> Qatar\u2019s banned yesterday the sale of of food and other goods from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain, Bloomberg reports<\/a>. The move comes a little more than a week before the one-year anniversary of the Arab Quartet simultaneously severing diplomatic ties with the statelet.<\/p>\n

The news comes just days after Trump called off the summit \u2014 and after the leaders of North and South Korea held a \u201csurprise meeting\u201d on Saturday to discuss the \u201chigh-stakes\u201d meeting set to take place next month<\/a> \u2014 \u201cthe strongest sign yet that the two Korean leaders are trying to keep the on-again off-again summit on track,\u201d says Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n
