The two did not disclose the size of the investment. Cairo-based Giftery, founded by Sarah Aclimandos, bills itself as the region\u2019s first online gifting platform, providing a \u201cone-stop shop for all gift and registry needs of individuals and corporates.\u201d Springboard\u2019s Gamal Guemeih says the transaction is his firm\u2019s third in Egypt. The Giftery will use the funding for \u201cmarketing, new features and improvements in the customer experience.\u201d Our friends at Shahid Law Firm were legal advisors to the Giftery on the transaction.<\/p>\n
