Orascom Telecom Media and Technology (OTMT) is selling 100% of the cable operator, <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/05\/14\/te-to-finalize-mena-cables-acquisition-within-a-week\/\">as we noted on Sunday<\/a>. The transaction is now waiting on state and and regulatory approvals. TE <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/05\/13\/te-to-acquire-otmts-mena-cables-in-usd-90-mn-transaction-obtain-long-term-usd-credit-facilities\/\">announced last Thursday<\/a> that it would finance the transaction through a shareholder loan to its cable subsidiary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advisors:<\/strong> The state-owned fixed-line monopoly had tapped Al Tamimi & Co. as its legal advisor, while Ibrachy Legal Consultancy was advisor to TE, according to the sources.
