Maybe Safwat\u2019s shot at Wimbledon will help clear it up:<\/strong> Egyptian tennis player Mohamed Safwat could qualify for Wimbledon if he wins a match today against American Michael Mmoh, according to Sport360<\/a>. Qualifying would make Safwat the first Egyptian to play in the championship since 1980. \u201cWhile Egypt\u2019s first World Cup appearance since Ismail El Shafei in 1990 ended in heartbreak, Safwat has an opportunity to give his country reason to celebrate.\u201d Safwat says to have cracked the code which had plagued the Egyptian national team at the World Cup: \u201cKeep your head down, stay hungry, don\u2019t expect too much but always aim for more.\u201d Safwat became the first Egyptian in 22 years to play a Grand Slam after earning a last-minute spot in the French Open last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n
