High-end art has turned into a financial tool and investment:<\/strong> The hypothesis has mostly held up since then \u2014 there has been strong appetite for high-end and \u201cbrand name\u201d art pieces, to the point that they\u2019ve become a more popular investment than at any time before. \u201cIn the past decade and even more so in the past five years, a major stimulus, mainly for the high end, has been the financialisation of the market.
