ENR boss sacked after train derailed, injuring six: <\/strong>Transport Minister Hisham Arafat sacked Egypt National Railways (ENR) Chairman Sayed Salem after six people were injured when a train derailed on the Cairo-Aswan line yesterday, the Associated Press reports<\/a>. The victims, who are said to be suffering from \u201cminor wounds,\u201d were transported to the Kom Ombo Central Hospital, according to the State Information Service<\/a>. Arafat has ordered a fact-finding committee to investigate the incident, the second of its kind this month. The derailment of a train in Giza<\/a> two weeks ago left 58 people injured, with preliminary findings suggesting that a lack of maintenance on the track was responsible. The Transport Ministry has been working on upgrading Egypt\u2019s railway infrastructure since last summer<\/a>, when two passenger trains collided killing more than 40 people.
