Siemens, Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas, and German wind energy solutions Senvion<\/a><\/u> are the only three companies remaining in the running for the EUR 260 mn wind farm, funded by<\/a><\/u> Germany\u2019s KfW bank, European Investment Bank, the French Agency for Development, and the EU. The windfarm would be the first project in Egypt\u2019s plan to develop a 2.2 GW in generation capacity.
