LEGISLATION WATCH- The draft Public Contracts Act is expected to be presented <\/strong>to the House of Representatives\u2019 general assembly <\/strong>before the end of the current legislative season, according to the head of the Federation of Builders and Contractors Hassan Abdel Aziz. Any amendments to the bill, which received a preliminary nod<\/a> from the House last week, will then be sent to the Council of State for review, he tells Al Masry Al Youm<\/a>. The bill, previously known as the Tenders and Auctions Act, aims to decentralize and streamline tender procedures.
