Education Minister Tarek Shawky signed a directive on Sunday which would give the ministry the right to supervise the curriculum for obtaining a US high school diploma in Egypt, according to a ministry statement picked up by Ahram Online<\/a><\/u>. The move would allow the ministry to organize the curriculums and exams for these degrees through a number of accreditation agencies, including the Middle States of Colleges and School Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools and AdvancED.
