Apple unveiled three new iPhones and a new watch <\/strong>at its fall product event last night. All of its new toys are getting solid reviews so far, but it\u2019s disappointing (at least for those of us with broken \u2018R\u2019 keys on our MacBooks) that the world\u2019s most valuable company launched neither the long-rumored new MacBook nor iPad upgrades. The Apple Watch Series 4 was perhaps the coolest gadget of the night, offering heart monitoring and fall detection<\/a> \u2014 you can even do your own ECG on the watch <\/strong>and then email it off to your cardiologist. Okay, but what about the phones? <\/strong>We\u2019re not big fans of the naming system, but you have the choice this year between the iPhone XS (with a 5.8\u201d display), the iPhone XS Max (6.5\u201d) and an \u201cin-betweener\u201d dubbed the iPhone XR (6.1\u201d screen). The first two have the same OLED screens as last year\u2019s iPhone X, while the XR uses the LED technology found in the iPhone 8 and earlier iterations of the brand. All three phones have the latest A12 processor, lots of storage, FaceID (bye-bye, fingerprint sensor) and more. When is it coming to Egypt? <\/strong>God knows. Apple\u2019s Egypt page<\/a> still advertises the iPhone X and iPhone 8 as \u201cnew\u201d this morning, and local authorized resellers are also yet to update their pages.<\/p>\n

iPhone XS vs. XS Max vs. XR\u2026vs. X vs. 8 vs. 7: What\u2019s the Difference? <\/strong>The WSJ<\/a> has your back \u2014 and thinks that the inbetweener (the iPhone XR) probably offers the best value for money<\/a> if you don\u2019t want to go with the Godzilla sized iPhone XS Max. Everything from the XS Max to the 7 remains part of Apple\u2019s product lineup this year.<\/p>\n
