The government will appoint the board of directors for Egypt\u2019s EGP 200 bn sovereign wealth fund within the coming few months,<\/strong> Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said yesterday, Al Mal reports. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly was expected to announce the formation of the board some time in July, the minister had previously said<\/a><\/u>. Legislation establishing the fund was signed into law last month<\/a><\/u>. The government has entered into an agreement with a consortium of firms including Sarie-Eldin & Partners, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Baker McKenzie to advise on drafting the regulations for the fund, which is expected to launch before the end of 2018.<\/p>\n
