The firm\u2019s former deputy chairman, Mohamed Al Ansari, was among the three arrested, <a href=\"https:\/\/af.reuters.com\/article\/egyptNews\/idAFL8N1WY51A\">according to Reuters<\/a>, which cites state news agency MENA. The three are reportedly being charged with a second count of embezzlement related to a USD 18.5 mn sum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The USD 1 bn figure seems far fetched, even for an oil-trading business<\/strong>, which was Tri-Ocean\u2019s primary focus at the time of the alleged crimes.
