EFG Hermes, meanwhile, rose 1.7% after a senior company exec said it was closing in on the acquisition of Nigeria\u2019s brokerage Primera Africa (we have more on that in the Speed Round, below).<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"tldr-story-03\" class=\"content-anchor\"><\/a> ** #3\u00a0<strong>SIGN OF THE TIMES- Retail component of Sarwa\u2019s IPO 2.7x oversubscribed so far:<\/strong> The domestic press suggested earlier this week that Sarwa Capital had run into low retail appetite for the domestic tranche of its offering, leading us to warn you to take those reports with a cup or two of salt. Where the original report said Sarwa was less than 50% covered, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/alborsaanews.com\/2018\/10\/09\/1139909\">sources at the EGX<\/a>\u201d now say the offering was 2.7x oversubscribed heading into this morning. Today is the last day of the retail subscription period. The consumer and structured finance company had <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/10\/04\/sarwa-institutional-offering-10-38x-oversubscribed-final-share-price-set-at-egp-7-36\/\">previously announced<\/a> that its institutional offering was 10.38x oversubscribed, with shares priced at EGP 7.36 apiece. Trading is expected to begin on 15 October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The central bank is expected to announce September inflation figures today<\/strong>.
