Netflix is known for capitalizing on emerging comedic talent, and their latest<\/strong> bet on Shane Gillis is no exception.<\/strong> Following his comedy special<\/a> hit and a notable, albeit brief, stint on Saturday Night Live, Gillis is back with Tires<\/a><\/strong>,<\/strong> a new sitcom already greenlit for a second season<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Will (Steve Gerben), manages the Valley Forge Automotive Center, a mini-chain owned by<\/strong> his father.<\/strong> He\u2019s trying to improve the shop's performance after taking over two months ago, but his efforts are often seen as failures by both his employees and customers. His misguided initiative keeps backfiring and his employees feel compelled to help their manager keep the business running and (hopefully) profitable.<\/p>\n

The show highlights the dysfunctional yet endearing relationships among the staff,<\/strong> particularly between Will and his cousin Shane (Shane Gillis), the best mechanic who often mocks Will\u2019s management style. The series also introduces other quirky characters, such as Cal (Chris O\u2019Connor), Schultz (Andrew Schulz), and Tommy (Tommy Pope), friends from a nearby sales lot who complicate matters with their antics.<\/p>\n

As the season progresses, tensions rise when Will\u2019s father disapproves of his decisions,<\/strong> and Shane considers leaving for another job opportunity, revealing deeper layers of their characters and the bonds they share. Despite the rough start and suggestive jokes, the show hints at more profound character development and evolving relationships.<\/p>\n
