Even though the search for meaningfulness in jobs has only climbed since then, businesses have failed to evolve to meet the demand, a group of researchers argue in a piece for the <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2018\/11\/9-out-of-10-people-are-willing-to-earn-less-money-to-do-more-meaningful-work?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=hbr&fbclid=IwAR0f6lZ_7hynuZJ-PMwfdUuSGpqucYbgIBihTrf2uZZA0hwXgTZ8G1ph67Q\">Harvard Business Review<\/a>. Most employers are failing to create \u201cmeaningfulness\u201d at work or translate it into monetary value, an HBR survey of over 2k American professionals has revealed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How much is \u201cmeaning\u201d worth to workers? <\/strong>American workers would give up 23% on average of their \u201centire future lifetime earnings\u201d to have a job that provides them with meaning on a consistent basis, the researchers found.
