Customers wanting to use their cards abroad and those with FX expenses to pay at home will automatically have access to the increased limits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The new monthly transaction limits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Visa Gold and Mastercard Titanium <\/strong>will have a limit of the FX equivalent of <strong>EGP 25k<\/strong>, up from EGP 7.5k previously;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visa Platinum, Mastercard Platinum, and UEFA Champions League Mastercard<\/strong> will have a limit equal to <strong>EGP 40k<\/strong>, from EGP 12.5k previously;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mastercard World, Visa Signature, Mastercard World Elite, Visa Infinite, and Corporate Credit Cards <\/strong>will have an FX limit matching<strong> EGP 60k<\/strong>, from EGP 20k previously.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limits on Visa Classic, MasterCard Standard,&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>and MasterCard EgyptAir <\/strong>cards were<strong> kept unchanged at the FX equivalent of EGP 5k.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>You can unlock a much larger limit for spending abroad if you get in contact in advance: <\/strong>The bank\u2019s customers can pop into a branch or jump on the phone at least 48 hours before they travel to unlock a substantially larger spending limit for overseas. The limits for different card types are listed <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbe.com.eg\/AssetsManager\/b7cca49b-f76b-49b0-b661-1cf7c439bb0c.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">here (p<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbe.com.eg\/AssetsManager\/b7cca49b-f76b-49b0-b661-1cf7c439bb0c.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">df)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>But with one important caveat for wanting th<\/strong><strong>e larger limit: <\/strong>Customers must provide proof of travel no more than 90 days after the bank unlocks the larger spending limit.
