GB Auto to distribute MG cars in Jordan:<\/strong> GB Corp\u2019s automotive arm GB Auto<\/a> and MG Motor Jordan<\/a> \u2014 the former distributor of the Chinese-owned automotive brand in Jordan \u2014 have launched a JV to take over the management of the MG Motor dealership in the country, according to a statement (pdf)<\/a> from GB Corp. The move is part of GB Corp\u2019s efforts to expand across the region. <\/p>\n

The details: <\/strong>The JV \u2014 dubbed GKS \u2014 will be the exclusive distributor of MG passenger cars in Jordan. \u201cThe new JV will have all the needed resources to quickly grow the MG Motor brand in Jordan, focusing on both, an elevated brand experience and market share, through the sales and aftersales superior offerings and competitiveness,\u201d the statement said. <\/p>\n

Not the company\u2019s first MG gig in the region: <\/strong>GB Auto has been distributing MG vehicles in Iraq after entering a partnership<\/a> with China\u2019s state-owned SAIC Motor \u2014 the parent company of MG Motor \u2014 in 2020.<\/p>\n
