Gratsy uses puppets and shadow and object theater to explore the themes of Victor Hugo\u2019s Les Mis in a mesmerizing performance that represented Om El Donia in the Arabic Institution Theater Festival this year. This event is for no charge, so get there early to grab some good seats.<\/p>\n

Celebrate International Women\u2019s Day with Echo Production\u2019s <\/strong>Within a Day and Night<\/a><\/strong> performance.<\/strong> Friday, March 8 will see four women take to the stage to navigate the reality of social transformation in a satirical performance that discusses society\u2019s commentary on women\u2019s bodies, social status, and age. The show will begin at 7pm sharp at the French Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Catch a glimpse of Egyptian cinema through <\/strong>Mohamed Bakr\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> lens at <\/strong>Photopia<\/a><\/strong> in Fifty<\/a>Years of Cinematic Portraits<\/a>. This exhibition continues until Sunday, 10 March where you\u2019ll get to see a selection of portraits taken from his extensive collection of over 2000 artistic works captured since 1956.
