Good afternoon, wonderful people, and welcome to a surprisingly quiet Monday.<\/strong> There\u2019s no real big story at home to speak of so far, although we know that could easily change overnight. <\/p>\n

THE BIG STORY ABROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not much has changed since this <\/strong>morning<\/a><\/strong>, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin <\/strong>Netanyahu\u2019s plans for the Palestinians in Rafah still making headlines. <\/strong>Netanyahu announced a \u201cplan for action\u201d to move Palestinians in Rafah out of the \u201careas of fighting\u201d in the south towards the north to proceed with Israel\u2019s offensive to \u201cdismantle\u201d Hamas. Over a mn civilians were pushed out of the north into Rafah by Israel\u2019s attacks. Still, there is no word from Netanyahu on the status of a hostage swap, but Israeli media reported a breakthrough this past Friday during talks between representatives from the US, Egypt, and Qatar.
