Ahead of launch, Arab SWFs are vying for a slice in ACDIMA\u2019s pharma ingredients <\/strong>producer:<\/strong> Arab sovereign funds are in talks with the Arab Company for Drug Industries and Medical Appliances (ACDIMA<\/a>) to acquire a 20% share in a new subsidiary it is setting up for producing active pharma ingredients, reports<\/a>Al Mal<\/a>, citing sources it says are in the know. The subsidiary will be responsible for ACDIMA\u2019s new USD 165 mn factory<\/a>, which will produce 28 active ingredients and is expected to start operations in 2026.<\/p>\n

As things stand:<\/strong> ACDIMA will own a 60% stake in the EGP 10 mn company, its subsidiary EIPICO will own 30%, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) will own 10%, according to a provisional ownership structure published (pdf)<\/a> yesterday by EIPICO.
