What does freedom mean to Egypt? <\/strong>Explore the multifaceted interpretations of the concept of freedom with Unbound Harmony: Freedom in Three Voices<\/a> at The Arts-Mart Gallery. The group exhibition will explore the depth and beauty of artistic expression. You can catch the exhibition Saturday-Thursday of every week until 30 November.<\/p>\n

Palestine\u2019s ethnography is on display<\/strong> at the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo starting from Sunday, 19 November from 7-8pm. Sary Zananiri\u2019s Unsilencing Palestine<\/a> photo exhibition gives a rare view of modernity in Palestine. If you miss the opening, don\u2019t fret \u2014 you can visit the exhibition whenever you like, but by appointment.<\/p>\n

Listen to some authentic oud at<\/strong>A3dat Saad El Oud<\/a><\/strong>. <\/strong>The musician Saad Al Oud and his band will be performing on Tuesday, 21 November at Room Art Space and Cafe, New Cairo<\/a>. The concert will start at 9pm and you can book your tickets here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Catch a rendition of Tawfiq al-Hakim\u2019s <\/strong>Bank of Anxiety<\/a><\/strong> this week. <\/strong>It follows two friends who establish a private bank that uses anxiety as the currency. The play runs at the Falaki Theater at AUC\u2019s Tahrir campus until next Sunday. No charge for admission, but you\u2019ll need to show a photo ID at the door. <\/p>\n

The Christmas Charity Bazaar<\/a><\/strong> will bring the warmth of the holiday season<\/strong> on Friday, 1 December, at All Saints\u2019 Cathedral, Zamalek<\/a>. The bazaar runs from 10:30am until 4pm. Proceeds will benefit a variety of charities here in Egypt.<\/p>\n
