THE BIG STORY TODAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Egypt signed a total of 13 agreements with local and international <\/strong>companies on the second day of the TransMea 2023 expo<\/strong> today, the Transport Ministry said in statements (here<\/a>, here<\/a>, here<\/a>, and here<\/a>). The agreements cover \u2014 among other things \u2014 maritime transport and ports, dry ports, and logistics zones. <\/p>\n

The latest developments in Palestine continue to lead the conversation in the <\/strong>international press this afternoon.<\/strong> Picking up where we left off this morning, Israel\u2019s plans to keep its forces on the ground in Gaza after the fighting ends is still broadly topping headlines, while residents still in Gaza City have been given a four-hour window to escape the area as Israel prepares to begin storming the city.
