Israel is deliberately targeting civilian locations to frighten civilians and force them to flee Gaza, he added. Your boycott is doing more harm than good, says Adib: <\/strong>El Hekaya\u2019s Amr Adib criticized the ongoing boycott of brands believed by some consumers to have voiced support for Israel (watch, runtime: 18:08<\/a>). The boycott causes local franchises of international brands to see a significant dip in sales, which in turn pushes them to lay off workers, he explained. \u201cThere are hundreds of thousands of people working for these local franchises \u2026 you are standing with the people of Palestine, but who is standing with the people of Egypt?\u201d he asked. <\/p>\n

Moussa voices criticism of Hamas head over border comments: <\/strong>Ala Maso\u2019uleety\u2019s Ahmed Moussa (watch, runtime: 3:10<\/a>) attacked Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh calling him a liar for his comments calling on Egypt to open the Rafah border to let in Gazans. \u201cThe border is open, we\u2019re taking in tens of wounded Gazans every single day,\u201d Moussa said, adding that \u201cEgyptians are more concerned about the people of Gaza than Haniyeh.\u201d The Hamas leader wants the Egyptian-Palestinian border to open up to all Gazans seeking to flee, while Egypt has only opened the border<\/a> for injured Gazans and foreign-passport holders. <\/p>\n

No one is happy with Nasrallah\u2019s speech: <\/strong>Most analysts have reached the same conclusion on Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah\u2019s recent speech that \u201che should\u2019ve stayed silent,\u201d Middle East Forum for Strategic Studies head Samir Ghattas told Adib (watch, runtime: 9:27<\/a>). \u201cNasrallah hasn't been making public appearances since 2006, and that is not a sign of power,\u201d Ghattas said and added that \u201cNasrallah has gone from the leader of a strong political power to a subpar political analyst.\u201d Ahmed Moussa also jumped in and argued that Nasrallah\u2019s \u201cmain concern was clearing his name and Iran\u2019s name from the events of 7 October.\u201d (watch, runtime: 6:50<\/a>).<\/p>\n
