New look Taqa Arabia board: <\/strong> Six new board members have joined Taqa Arabia, following a board shuffle, the Qalaa Holdings subsidiary said in an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a> on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

The breakdown: <\/strong>The military\u2019s National Service Projects Organization (NSPO), which acquired 20%<\/a> of the firm in July, now has three board seats, with Lt. Gen. Ahmed El Shazly, Maj. Gen. Mamdouh Shahin, and Maj. Gen. Maher Mohamed Youssef all joining as directors. Meanwhile, former CBE assistant sub-governor Ghada Kandil (LinkedIn<\/a>) and Zaki Hashem & Partner managing partner Yasser Zaki Hashem (LinkedIn<\/a>) joined as independent board members. Joseph Iskandar (LinkedIn<\/a>) was appointed to represent Nile Energy, a Ugandan firm that pur<\/a> chased 7.5%<\/a> of the company\u2019s shares in August.<\/p>\n

New cabinet spokesman: <\/strong> Sameh El Kheshen <\/strong> has been named the Madbouly cabinet\u2019s new spokesperson, succeeding Nader Saad <\/strong> who has been appointed as Egypt\u2019s new ambassador to Bulgaria and North Macedonia, according to a cabinet statement<\/a> on Wednesday. El Kheshen, who has been a diplomat since 2004, holds an MA in political science from the American University in Cairo, and worked previously in the Egyptian diplomatic missions to the UN, the Central African Republic, and Iran.<\/p>\n

And a new CEO at e-Aswaaq: <\/strong>e-Finance\u2019s e-commerce subsidiary, e-Aswaaq Misr, has named Ahmed Samir Kamel (LinkedIn<\/a>) as its CEO, according to a statement (pdf)<\/a>. Kamel joins the state-owned firm after serving as the managing director at Contact Financial\u2019s consumer finance arm Contact Creditech.
