Evil Genius<\/a><\/strong> with <\/strong>Russell Kane<\/a><\/strong> is one of the funniest podcasts we\u2019ve <\/strong> listened to. <\/strong> In a nutshell, the show embodies the adage that advises you to \u201cnever meet your heroes\u201d \u2014 probably because the closer you get to someone, the more you can see right through the veneer of their persona. And Kane \u2014 comedian, actor, writer and host \u2014 is ruthless about it. The self-declared \u201cmirth-maker\u201d does not shy away from pointing out everything that is wrong with global icons and fictional characters alike. From Batman<\/a> to Frida Kahlo<\/a>, all the way to Genghis Khan<\/a> \u2014 the podcast host, along with his guests, all seem to agree: Even the most impressive of people are fallible and quite defective. But make sure to take his comments with a grain of salt. While Kane\u2019s comments are quite hilarious \u2014 maybe watch out for the super strong language if you\u2019re not listening alone \u2014 and mostly factually correct, he\u2019s no historian. Or as one disgruntled reviewer<\/a> put it: It\u2019s like listening to the \u201cwokest students on campus telling you how the world should work.\u201d So think of this show as light edu-tainment as it is anything but a serious academic exercise.
