#1- Beltone Financial Holding <\/strong>has appointed <\/span> Mamdouh Abdelwahab <\/strong> (<\/span>LinkedIn<\/a>) as its <\/span> chief communications officer<\/strong>. The news came after a <\/span>regulatory filing (pdf)<\/a> in which Beltone noted that Abdelwahab would have responsibility for investor relations at the financial services firm. Abdelwahab joins Beltone after an eight-year run at real estate blue chip PHD, where he was associate vice president leading on investor relations and investments. He has 24 years of experience in investor relations, investment, corporate finance, and communications including stints at Global Telecom, Veon, EFG Hermes, CIIC, and Orascom Development Holding (OD Egypt\u2019s Swiss parent company).<\/span><\/p>\n

Abdelwahab\u2019s track record includes more than USD 1 bn raised <\/strong> in transactions including listings on Nasdaq and SIX Swiss Exchange as well as other capital raisings and rights issues. He holds a master's degree in banking and finance from the Maastricht School of Management. <\/p>\n

#2- Amr Adel Hosni <\/strong>(bio<\/a>)has been reappointed for another year as acting head<\/a><\/strong> of the <\/strong> Administrative Control Authority (ACA) <\/strong>effective today, according to a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette yesterday.
