The #MeToo movement is hurting Egyptian women<\/b>, Egyptian playwright Dalia Basiouny said according to The National<\/a>. \u201cAs soon as a woman makes [an accusation] public, society accuses her,\u201d the Fulbright Arts Grant recipient said at a panel discussion at NYU Abu Dhabi, in reference to the previous arrest of women for speaking out on harassment.<\/p>\n

A sense of normalcy returns to those living in North Sinai\u2019s largest city, El-Arish,<\/b> following years of terrorist attacks on the city, according to the Associated Press<\/a>. For the past six to seven months, residents of El-Arish have resumed their normal lives with schools in session, a new housing project underway and a factory back to work. The Armed Forces launched an all-out offensive 10 months ago. Military presence is still prevalent in El-Arish to ensure the city remains safe and protected.<\/p>\n
