The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) and the Egyptian German Electrical Manufacturing Company (EGEMAC) have signed seven contracts worth c. EGP 660 mn to overhaul power transmission networks across the country, EETC head Sabah Mashaly said, according to Al Masry Al Youm<\/a>. The contracts will see new substations worth upward of EGP 630 mn built and supplied in 10th of Ramadan City, Hawamdia, and Damietta. The contracts also involve purchasing 10 mobile substations.
