Siemens Gamesa has selected a consortium of Elsewedy and Marubeni to launch the first phase of 180 MW wind power stations in Ras Ghareb<\/b> under a BOO (build, own, operate) framework, sources told the local press<\/a><\/u>. The consortium will be in charge of securing the funding for the first phase of the project through Japanese institutions, including the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
