A number of top tier banks including HSBC, Citi, and JP Chase & Co are reportedly bidding on the mandate. All three, along with Morgan Stanley and National Bank of Abu Dhabi <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2018\/02\/14\/what-were-tracking-on-14-february-2018\/\">had led past eurobond issuances<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>This comes as a number of German investment banks are reportedly looking to bid for the position of legal adviser.<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/01\/13\/seven-law-firms-bid-to-act-as-legal-advisors-in-egypts-upcoming-eurobond-issuance\/\">As we noted earlier this week<\/a>, Shalakany Law Office, Zulficar & Partners, Zaki Hashem & Partners, White & Case, and Baker McKenzie, have submitted bids to the Finance Ministry to act as legal advisers.<\/p>\n<p><b>The final draft of the amended NGOs Act is due to be finalized in March<\/b> before being sent to the Madbouly Cabinet and parliament, Talaat Abdel Qawi, the head of a national association of NGOs, told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.egypttoday.com\/Article\/2\/63490\/Draft-law-on-NGOs-to-be-finalized-in-March-official\">Egypt Today.<\/a> Local civil society, international NGOS and other organizations were apparently <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/01\/13\/govt-to-invite-foreign-ngos-to-take-part-in-national-dialogue-to-amend-ngos-act\/\">involved in consultations<\/a> about the proposed amendments.
