The EGP gained 6.5% in the first half of 2019, trailing only behind the Russian RUB, which gained 9.5% and outperformed the Thai baht (5.3%) and the Philippine peso (2.8%), according to Bloomberg indicators cited by the cabinet\u2019s Information and Decision Support Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n
