New WEF program to improve women\u2019s participation in Egyptian economy:<\/b> The World Economic Forum is launching its \u201cClosing the Gender Gap Accelerator\u201d in Egypt, an initiative to support boost women\u2019s role in the economy, it said in a statement<\/a>. The three-year initiative aims to increase participation in the job market, including in leadership positions, and push for equal pay. Egypt is the ninth government to adopt the initiative and the first in the MENA region.
