President Abdel Fattah El Sisi\u2019s trip to New York dominated the airwaves<\/b> for the second day in a row, setting what we expect will be the theme of the week on the airwaves. El Sisi\u2019s meeting with<\/b> UN Food and Agriculture Organization Director-General<\/b> Qu Dongyu was of particular interest to Hona Al Asema\u2019s Reham Ibrahim, who highlighted \u201cthe close cooperation\u201d between Egypt and FAO in the fields of food safety, food security, and agricultural development (watch, runtime: 2:18<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Gov\u2019t meeting on slums, social housing:<\/b> Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly\u2019s meeting with the cabinet economic group to discuss a government plan to develop slum areas and relocate residents in these areas to social housing got some airtime on Hona Al Asema (watch, runtime: 12:54<\/a>). Head of the Slum Development Fund Khaled Seddik phoned in to tell Ibrahim that the government has spent EGP 22 bn to date on slum development.<\/p>\n
