Govt\u2019 finds new uses for rice straw to reduce air pollution:<\/b> The Environment Ministry has collected 1.9k tonnes of rice straw this year in a bid to prevent farmers from burning the crop and causing pollution, Egypt Today reports<\/a>. The straw will be used as fertilizer and animal fodder, as well as in manufacturing and the production of biogas.
