Ahmed Saadeddin resigns as parliament\u2019s secretary-general:<\/b> Secretary-General of the House of Representatives Ahmed Saadeddin yesterday resigned from his post citing \u201cvery private reasons\u201d in a statement, Ahram Online reports<\/a>. He said in his statement he intends to return to his former role as a judge with the Council of State (Maglis El Dawla), having served as parliament\u2019s secretary-general for four years. However, well-connected House Rep. Mostafa Bakry said in a tweet that Saadeddin is heading to the UAE, where he will be \u201con loan\u201d to the Emirati parliament.
