Assets are currently being transferred to the fund \u2014 which will focus on renewable energy, manufacturing, logistics, food security, healthcare, and transport, <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/10\/07\/ayman-soliman-tapped-as-chief-executive-of-egypts-sovereign-wealth-fund\/\">newly-appointed<\/a> CEO Ayman Soliman was <a href=\"https:\/\/almalnews.com\/%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b1%d8%a6%d9%8a%d8%b3-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d9%86%d9%81%d9%8a%d8%b0%d9%8a-%d9%84%d8%b5%d9%86%d8%af%d9%88%d9%82-%d9%85%d8%b5%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%af%d9%8a-%d9%81%d9%8a\/\">quoted by Al Mal<\/a> as saying.<\/p>\n<p><b>Samih Sawiris announced he is looking to partner with the SWF to develop Bab El Azab area<\/b> in Islamic Cairo. Downtown Cairo-focused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/ismaelia-for-real-estate-investments\/about\/\">Al Ismaelia For Real Estate Investment<\/a> will take on the project\u2019s implementation, <a href=\"https:\/\/hapijournal.com\/2019\/11\/03\/%d8%b3%d9%85%d9%8a%d8%ad-%d8%b3%d8%a7%d9%88%d9%8a%d8%b1%d8%b3-%d9%8a%d8%b9%d8%aa%d8%b2%d9%85-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d9%86%d8%a7%d9%81%d8%b3%d8%a9-%d8%b9%d9%84%d9%89-%d8%aa%d8%b7%d9%88%d9%8a%d8%b1-%d9%85\/\">the b'naire told Hapi Journal<\/a>, adding that he will be acting individually and not as part of Orascom Development Egypt (ODE). Al Ismaelia\u2019s chairman Karim Shafei said the project is still in a \u201cvery early stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>The SWF\u2019s PPP mandate:<\/b> The planning minister said <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/11\/03\/could-military-owned-companies-be-set-to-list-on-the-egx\/\">over the weekend<\/a> that both ODE and Al Ismaelia expressed interest in investing in or alongside the SWF.
