Film critic Samir Farid\u2019s never-before-seen images of Egyptian cinema: <\/strong>Akkasah, the center for photography at NYU Abu Dhabi, has released more than 600 never-before-seen photographs<\/a> from Egyptian movies dating from the 1950s to the 1990s.The above image is from the 1974 movie, Wedding Night Widow, featuring Nagwa Fouad and Bader El Den Gamgome. The photographs and negatives were taken on set of the films and were later donated by Samir Farid, a prominent Egyptian writer, scholar, and leading film critic.
