Human rights is leading the conversation in the international press this morning: <\/strong>Human rights researcher Patrick Zaki has been sentenced to three years in prison for \u201cspreading false news,\u201d the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights ( EIPR ) said<\/a> yesterday. Zaki spent almost two years in pre-trial detention for writing an article in 2019 about his experience as a Coptic Christian, before being released in December 2021 ahead of the trial.
