Shareholders have reportedly received acquisition offers from several firms from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, France, and the Netherlands, the sources said, without providing further details. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">The sellers:<\/span><span style=\"\"> The bidders are looking to acquire the 18.1% stake held by Al Ahly Momkn <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">co-founder Samir Abo Hashem and another 6.9% stake held by several other shareholders. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Momkn is majority-owned by NBE:<\/span><span style=\"\"> The National Bank of Egypt\u2019s investment arm <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alahlycapital.com\/\" style=\"\">Ahli Capital<\/a><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alahlycapital.com\/\" style=\"\">Holding<\/a>&nbsp;<\/span><span>acquired a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/d9c7279c-1420-46b8-83a6-d456599c6fe0\" style=\"\">75% stake in Al Ahly Momkn<\/a><\/span><span> in 2021 in a transaction that was valued at the time at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">around EGP 140 mn.
