<\/span>Record high inflation in June:<\/span> Annual urban inflation<\/span> accelerated to 35.7% y-o-y in June <\/span>from 32.7% the month before<\/a><\/span>, according to figures released today by state statistics agency Capmas. The June reading is a new record high, rising above the previous record set in July 2017, when it hit 33%. <\/span><\/p>\n

THE BIG STORY ABROAD<\/span><\/p>\n

Prighozin\u2019s reported meeting with Putin after his aborted-mutiny is making headlines in the international press.<\/span> The head of the Wagner group and a group of its leaders allegedly met with the Russian leader on 29 June after the 24 June mutiny and before leaving for Belarus, according to the president\u2019s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, who informed reporters in a conference call today. The spokesperson explained that the parties discussed the Wanger group\u2019s concerns and agreed to further operations. ALSO- UN warns of Sudan slipping into a full-scale civil war: <\/span>The statement came as the<\/span> fighting between the Sudanese warring parties escalated yesterday in Khartoum, <\/span>Bloomberg<\/a><\/span> reports, citing UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Eyewitnesses in the capital said that the clashing broke out early Sunday, where heavy weapons and military aircraft were spotted in the Kalaka neighborhood. Guterres warned that the continued fighting between the two military generals, Al Burhan and Hemedti, is bound to \u201cdestabilize the entire region.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
