<\/span>More EV charging stations in the works?<\/span> Two new local firms, a subsidiary of <\/span>Elsewedy Electric dubbed Elsewedy Plu<\/span>g and <\/span>Ikarus Electric<\/a><\/span>, have each received a one-year <\/span>license to build EV charging stations, <\/span>Al Borsa<\/a><\/span> writes, saying it has seen a decision handed down by the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency (Egyptera). <\/span><\/p>\n

We knew Elsewedy was eyeing EV charging: <\/span>EGX-listed MB Engineering's EV charging subsidiary Sha7en earlier this year <\/span>signed an initial partnership agreement<\/a><\/span> with Elsewedy Electric to install, operate, and maintain EV charging stations over the coming three years. The agreement came shortly after<\/span> Sha7en <\/span>received its license<\/a><\/span> to start operating EV charging stations. <\/span><\/p>\n

Infinity dominates the EV charging market: <\/span>Our friends at renewable energy player Infinity have built at <\/span>least 190 charging stations<\/a><\/span> so far nationwide with plans t<\/span>o up that number to <\/span>300 by 2024<\/a><\/span>, part of a plan with the government to eventually set up <\/span>3k stations across the country<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
