El Gebeily, who will assume his new role on 15 August, currently serves as the CFO of the <\/span><span>Egyptian Industrial Investment Group<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. His previous roles include senior executive finance director at Egyptian Steel, regional finance director at Lafarge Middle East and Africa, and finance director at Orascom Construction\u2019s international cement division. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">El Gebeily is <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\">taking over from Omar Bedewy <\/span><span>(<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/omar-bedewy-cfa-frm-caia-b6960b37\/\" style=\"\">LinkedIn<\/a><\/span><span>),<\/span><span> who has served as IDH\u2019s\u2019 CFO and vice president of finance and strategies since 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">And a new SIO: <\/span><span>Sherif El Etreby (<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sherif-el-etreby-a5a98516\/\" style=\"\">LinkedIn<\/a><\/span><span>) will join IDH as the company\u2019s strategic investment officer (SIO) on 15 August. He too hails from the <\/span><span>Egyptian Industrial Investment Group<\/span><span>, where he currently works as the senior vice president of investments.
