The Qalaa Holdings subsidiary is preparing to sell a stake directly to investors in what would be the bourse\u2019s first public share sale this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Remember:<\/span><span>The EGX this week <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/f74bc612-225d-46ed-b938-e05bf7e980bf\" style=\"\">gave the greenlight<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> for the company to list its shares on the exchange, kickstarting a six-month period during which it has to meet the bourse\u2019s listing requirements and obtain regulatory approvals. The company will submit its fair value report and other documents to the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) \u201cwithin hours,\u201d one of Asharq\u2019s sources reportedly said. Trading will take place under the ticker TAQA.CA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">About the company:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> Taqa Arabia is one of the country\u2019s leading energy distribution and utility companies, with operations spanning gas transmission and distribution, power, renewable energy and water. The company has EGP 676.2 mn of capital split between 1.352 bn shares with a nominal value of EGP 0.5 each.
