Ceasefire, peace talks collapse:<\/span> The Saudi and US-brokered truce expired on Saturday, a few <\/span>days after the Sudanese army <\/span>quit peace talks<\/a><\/span> blaming the RSF for failing to respect the terms of the ceasefire. The two sides had been engaged in talks in Jeddah for more than three weeks. The talks allowed limited humanitarian aid access but failed to bring an end to the fighting in the nation\u2019s capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia, US not giving up:<\/span> Saudi Arabia and the US yesterday <\/span>called on<\/a><\/span> both sides to return to the <\/span>negotiating table and agree to a new ceasefire.
