KSA could be BRICS\u2019 development bank\u2019s ninth member: <\/span>Saudi Arabia is in talks to join the <\/span>Shanghai-based New Development Bank, the <\/span>Financial Times<\/a><\/span> reports. If the kingdom joins the club, it would give the USD 100 bn bank another potential funding source and help cement growing ties between Saudi Arabia and China, the FT notes. <\/span><\/p>\n

REMEMBER- Egypt <\/span>became a member<\/a><\/span> of the multilateral lender back in February<\/span>. The <\/span>bank was set up in 2014 by the BRICS \u2014 a group of high-profile emerging markets including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa \u2014 to fund infrastructure projects in its member countries.<\/span><\/p>\n
